How do staff log in to Clever?
- Go to Okta: https://kippnj.okta.com/
- Launch the Clever app, or go directly to https://clever.com/in/kippnj/
- Switch to the account you need. See below.
You have two accounts
Make sure to switch to the account that you need.
Teacher : you are a lead teacher or an assigned co-teacher.
Staff : you are an AP, or you do not have rosters assigned and want to see all rosters at your school.
Most common mix-up
If you are not a lead teacher, your apps may look missing when you log in. They are not gone. You are in the wrong account. Click your profile icon in the top right and choose Switch to Staff account.

What is Clever?
Clever is Okta for students :)
We use Clever to give students one login for many programs.
All Clever logins are the student's Google Apps username@teamstudents.org account.

How does it work?
Clever syncs automatically with PowerSchool: if a student is enrolled in a homeroom or classroom roster, they can access Clever-enabled programs. Rosters refresh each morning.
If a student is not enrolled in a homeroom or class, reach out to your school ops team. Teacher accounts in Clever are tied to the classrooms set up in PowerSchool.
For students
- Sign in using their Google Apps login (all FAQs for student logins)
- Go to https://clever.com/in/kippnj
