Things to Know for the 24-25 Academic Year
- *NEW* Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, coaches will enter scores and comments in two different forms in SchoolMint Grow:
-
-
- Coach ETR and Reflection: Part 1 - Scores This form must be completed before the lockbox date for each round and the forms will be closed on SchoolMint Grow.
- Coach ETR and Reflection: Part 2 - Comments This form will remain open for editing until the end of the coaching conversation window and will not lock.
-
- The full Performance Management calendar for 24-25 is linked on the Performance Management Leader Launch Site.
- SchoolMint Grow coaching assignments are determined by ADP manager relationships. If you believe your coaching load is incorrect, first contact your school leadership team & follow these steps to confirm that assignments are correct in ADP. If ADP is correct, submit a ticket to data@kippteamandfamily.org.
For Teachers - Teacher Workflow
Teachers use SchoolMint Grow to review their weekly walkthrough and Microgoal data and submit their Coaching Tool: Teacher Reflection during performance management rounds.
For Coaches - Adding Walkthrough Observations and O3s
Coaches use SchoolMint Grow to enter Walkthrough observations and O3 meeting notes. They can also assign Microgoals directly from both forms using the Goals widget.
The workflow below previews the experience for Coaches submitting Walkthrough forms, but you can use this as a resource for O3 forms as well.
For Coaches - Assigning (and Mass Assigning) Microgoals
Coaches can also assign Microgoals by clicking on a teacher's profile on the Data Dashboard (your SchoolMint Grow homepage). If more than one teacher needs to be assigned the same Microgoal, new functionality enables coaches to mass assign goals.
For Coaches - Adding Coach ETR Observations
Coaches use SchoolMint Grow to enter Excellent Teaching Rubric (ETR) observations during performance management rounds (2-3 times per year depending on region and teacher).
Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, coaches will enter scores and comments in two different forms in SchoolMint Grow:
- Coach ETR and Reflection: Part 1 - Scores This form must be completed before the lockbox date for each round and the forms will be closed on SchoolMint Grow.
- Coach ETR and Reflection: Part 2 - Comments This form will remain open for editing until the end of the coaching conversation window and will not lock.
The workflow below previews the experience for Coaches submitting ETR forms.
For School and Regional Leaders - Tracking Completion
School Leadership teams can now use the Data Dashboard (your new home screen) & Cycles Dashboard to track completion of O3s, Walkthroughs, and Coaching Tools forms.
For School and Regional Leaders - Reviewing and Norming Scores
During Walkthrough and ETR cycles, leaders can use the Form Report to review scores by school, coach, observer, and date.
Regional leaders can use the Form Norming Report to see the distribution of scores across a school. Updates from the norming report update with a page refresh in the app.
