While out on Parental Leave, here are some helpful reminders to keep in mind!
- You can use the following link to check the status of your TDI application and your payments (once your application has been completed) - https://lwdsso.dol.state.nj.us/amserver/UI/Login?goto=https%3A%2F%2Fwww14.state.nj.us%3A443%2FDOL_DABI&arg=newsession.
- When your disability ends (6-8 weeks after you have the baby) you can use this website to apply for your family leave (FLI) - http://lwd.dol.state.nj.us/labor/fli/fliindex.html. As a reminder, you will not be allowed to complete the FLI application prior to your disability actually ending.
- The state will periodically send you documents in the mail. Please be sure to complete them and send them back ASAP to avoid delays in you receiving your funds.
- You will receive a Bank of America debit card from the state. Your funds from disability will automatically be forwarded to that card.
- If you intend to add your baby to your KIPP NJ Health Insurance, you will need to follow the below instructions within 30 days of your child’s birth.
Add New Dependent
Login Dayforce > Forms > Benefits > Current Dependent Information > +Add New Dependent
Declare Life Event
Login Dayforce > Forms > Benefits > Life Event Declaration > under the Life Event drop down please select 'Dependent Added'
Once our office approves these two requests in the Dayforce system, you'll have the ability to update your benefits to add your newborn. Please use the following path to enroll her in the benefits of your choice:
Login Dayforce > Benefits > Overview > Enrollments > Life Event.
