When do we get paid?
Employees are paid twice a month, on the 15th and last day of each month. If either of those days fall on a weekend, employees will be paid the Friday before.
Please note: KIPP NJ and Miami contracts run from July 1st through June 30th of the following year. If you started working after July 1st, your salary will be prorated accordingly.
For example: If someone were offered a salary of $12,000 per year, they would expect to earn $1,000 per month, which is their 'pay rate.' If this person worked for 6 months, he/she would earn $6,000, not the full $12,000 because they did not work for a full year.
How do I enroll in direct deposit?
Once you are logged in to ADP go to the following:
Myself > Pay > Payment Options > Add Bank Account
Please remember to check the “deposit remainder of my pay" box for your primary account.
All direct deposit account changes must go through a pre-note process with your bank. Once the bank has verified the account, your direct deposits will begin. It may take up to two pay cycles for the changes to go through.
Who do I contact about general payroll questions?
Please reach out directly to the Human Resources team at humanresources@kippnj.org with any payroll-related questions you may have.
