To update your name and/or marital status, please follow the below instructions directly in the ADP system.
Name Change requests require a social security card reflecting your new legal name. A copy of your new social security card can be uploaded directly to the 'My Document' section of your ADP profile for review and approval by the HR department.
- To change your name: Log into ADP > Myself > My Information > Profile > Personal Info > View More > Update applicable fields
- To upload a copy of your social security card: Log into ADP > Myself > Employment > My Documents
Marital Status requests require a copy of your official marriage or domestic partnership certificate issued by the state in which the ceremony was performed. You will be required to upload a copy of your marriage certificate (with seal) or domestic partnership certificate directly to the 'My Document' section of your ADP profile for review and approval by the HR department.
- To change your name: Log into ADP > Myself > My Information > Profile > Personal Info > View More > Update applicable fields
- To upload a copy of your marriage certification: Log into ADP > Myself > Employment > My Documents
Upon receipt and approval of your request in the ADP system, our office will send you a confirmation notification. Following this, a Tech Support Specialist will be in touch to guide you through the final steps of the name change process. To ensure that your name change request is processed correctly, please also submit a ticket to technology@kippnj.org.
Please note: If you are changing your name, we will not approve the name change unless a copy of your new social security card with your new name is included.
