How to use Okta for the First Time

1. Launch your Google Chrome browser and navigate to Okta

   https://kippnj.okta.com

2. Sign in to Okta using your Windows username and password.
   
3. On the Welcome window, select a security question from the Choose a forgot password question dropdown. Enter the answer to your selected question in the Answer field.
   
4. Scroll down to the Add a phone number for resetting your password or unlocking your account using SMS section and click the +Add Phone Number button.
   
5. Once the Forgot Password Text Message window pops-up, enter your mobile phone number in the Phone number field and click the Send Code button.
   
6. You will receive a verification code on your mobile device, enter the code and click the Verify button.
   
7. Once your phone is successfully verified click the Done button.
   
8. Scroll down to the Click a picture to choose a security image section, select a security image and click the Create My Account button.
   
9. Once your account is provisioned, you will receive an Okta makes your life easier message, click the Got it! button to proceed to your account.
   Note: If you get prompted to Install the Okta browser plugin, please refresh your browser. If you are still getting prompted to install the plugin, follow the instructions in the Install the Okta Plugin wiki.
10. Click the +Add Apps button to add more applications.
    
11. Click the Add button next to the application you would to add.
    
    Note: The first time you launch some apps, you may be required to enter your login information for that specific application. Okta will securely store this information so that you will never be prompted again
