The following are basic steps for Zoom troubleshooting when having issues.
Accessing Zoom via a web browser/Chrome/ChromeBook
- Sign out from the Zoom account (if logged in)
- Clear cache and cookies of your browser (make sure you save necessary data)
- Clear the browsing history (preferably, all time)
- Restart your browser and try to join the meeting again
Application (Desktop Client)
- Uninstall and reinstall the app (may need assistance from Tech team for student ChromeBooks as this is pushed via policy)
Contacting the tech team for assistance:
If you are contacting the tech team for Zoom assistance, please include as much of the following info as possible:
- Zoom Meeting ID
- Date/Time of issue
- Name of user(s) affected by the issue
- Name of Meeting Organizer/Host (if possible)
