The HR Team is unable to adjust or delay your pension deductions once we have received instruction from the State of NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits (NJDPB) to begin your payroll deductions.
Back pension deductions can be reduced to minimize the financial impact by submitting a hardship request, however the State of NJDPB requires employees to reach out directly to their office to make this request.
Once you’ve received your NJ Pension Confirmation email and copy of your pension certification from our office, you will have the ability to reach out to the state at (609) 292-7524 to request the hardship.
