Navigate to Workforce Manager to modify or cancel a time away from work request for an employee, select the My Team tab > Workforce Management > Dashboard or select the Time Management System icon on your KIPP homepage. Modify Time Off Request - Schedule Planner
Navigate to Schedule Planner by selecting the three lines menu located on the top left of your Workforce Manager home page > Schedule > Schedule Planner.
Search or scroll to find the employee’s name and then change your calendar view or click on the blue tabs to see the week/day you need to modify the time off request for.
You can only modify requests with a status of Submitted. To modify the request:
- Right click on the Submitted status and select Edit.
- A new window on the right of the Schedule Planner page will open, showing all request details. Under Review, click the pencil icon to edit.
- The next screen will allow you to change the date, change the request from full day to specific hours, and change the time off request type. When you are done making changes, click Review.
- If you are changing the request from full day to specific hours, the system will prompt you to enter the start and end times.
- To add a comment, click the "Add Comment" button > select "Requests" > enter your comment > click Add.
- Click Approve.
- Clicking Approve will automatically approve the request. If you need the SL or DSO (at your school) OR the employee's direct manager to review and approve the request, select Pending. Only the employee's manager will receive a notification if the request is put in pending status.
The approved time off request will show on the requested day under Schedule Planner. You will also see the approved time off request displayed on the employee’s timecard.
Cancel Time Off Request - Schedule Planner
Search or scroll to find the employee’s name and then change your calendar view or click on the blue tabs to see the week/day you need to cancel the time off request for.
To cancel, right click on the time off request status of Submitted or Approved > Click Cancel. The request status will now show as Cancelled, on the Schedule Planner page. If the request was already approved, it will also be removed from the employee's timecard.
