Intune device sign in after CMO Rename username change

This article outlines the steps that you need to take to log into your computer after your username has been updated to @kippteamandfamily.org during the CMO Rename username update maintenance on Friday July 23, 2021.

IMPORTANT! This article is for users with an Intune-managed device. If you are unsure whether you have an Intune device, please refer to Determine your Windows device type - Intune vs Kaseya. If you have a MacBook please refer to Mac sign in after CMO Rename username change.

1. Log into your device using your Windows credentials.
2. You will see a notification stating that your device needs an update in the bottom right corner of your screen.
   If you stepped away from your device, the notification may have moved to the sidebar. You will know there is a notification if the icon at the bottom right corner of your screen displays a number.
   
3. Once you've confirmed that you have received the notification, restart your laptop. 
    If you have clicked the notification, do not follow the instructions on the screen and instead restart your laptop.
4. At the login screen, click "Other User".
   
5. Type in your new @kippteamandfamily.org username and your existing Windows password.
   
6. That's it! You should now be logged in with your updated username.
