Students can access their account (KIPP Google Account) from home with any internet connection to sign into Clever and other apps on Clever.
Access to specific apps may be limited to devices
- iReady does not work on a mobile phone, but works on tablets and laptops.
Student Logins
- All student logins are managed at the school: please access this help guide (for school staff only) to look up student logins and how passwords are set
- All students grades K-2 use "Badges" which require a web camera to login and can be printed and distributed by schools
- All students 3-12th grade have private passwords that can be reset by school-based staff following these steps
(Option 1 for all students) How to access Clever from home
- Go to the Clever portal https://clever.com/in/kippnj and click "For Students"
- The student will be prompted to sign into Google. Each student has a personal KIPP Google Account that ends with "@teamstudents.org"
- Their username and password can be shared by the student's teacher
- Please ask your student's teacher for login information. The teacher can reset the student password if needed
- Clever portal will launch once the student login is complete. From there, students can access apps such as iReady.
- Note, some student apps may require you to download and install an app on your home device, e.g. the iReady app
(Option 2 only for K-2 students) Acces Clever from home using a printed "Badge"
- Students in K-2 can also sign into Clever by using a printed "badge" and if the device has a functioing webcam/camera
- If the student does not have the badge in their backpack, ask the teacher to print a copy for the student to bring home. Treat this printed badge securely as this can be used to access the student's account and data.
- Go to Clever's portal https://clever.com/in/kippnj and click on "Clever Badge Login"
- If the device as a working camera, display the printed badge in front of the camera to sign in without typing
- Clever portal will launch once the student login is complete. From there, students can access apps such as iReady.
- Note, some student apps may require you to download and install an app on your home device, e.g. the iReady app
