First Day of School : Teacher Checklist for Google Classroom - How to Accept, Add Co-teachers, Archive

Teacher Action Items : "First Day of School" for Google Classrooms:

1. Accept to begin using your new Google Classrooms

   • For Lead Teachers: you need to click on the "Accept" button to activate the new Google Classroom
   • 
   • Students will already be rostered based on PowerSchool rosters that School Ops created, refreshed in Google Classroom from the previous day
   • If a student is missing or incorrect, please reach out to your DSO/SOM: PowerSchool rosters needs to be updated and your Google Classroom will automatically update the next day
2. Add co-teachers and your coach(es) to Google Classroom
   • For Lead Teachers: Quick guide (less than 2 min)
   • There is a limit of 10 co-teachers per Google Classroom
3. Archive unused or older Google Classrooms
   • If you do not need to use your previous google classroom, you should archive it so that it does not show up on your or a student's screen
   • Note that ANY co-teacher can archive a Google Classroom, so please collaborate with your team before archiving
