How to set up email notification for a Tableau report

You can leverage Tableau subscriptions to receive daily/weekly email notifications for any Tableau report.

Step 1: In your Tableau report create a filtered view

1. Use filters, if needed, to drill down to view by region, location or any other available filters
2. Click on Original View (bottom page)
3. Enter the title of your view and click Save

Step 2: Sign up for email subscription to send you this view of data at a regular time

1. After you saved your Filtered View (Step 1), click on the Subscribe button
2. Select the frequency and Save.  You can also opt to not get any emails if there are no requests.
