What questions does this dashboard answer?

• Staff Roster tab:
  • Which staff work at a given school?
  • Which staff are in X department?
  • What is [Employee Name]'s Department and job title?
• Additional Information tab (note: access is limited):
  • What is [Employee Name]'s cell phone number?

Who is this dashboard for, and who can access it?

Audiences

• All Staff, for basic information
• Regional Leaders, for some of the detailed information

Data Access

• All staff can see all of the data on the Staff Roster Tab
• Regional leadership + HR staff can access the Additional Information tab.

Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?

Data Sources

• All data comes directly from ADP

Refresh Schedule

• Daily, this updates around 3am.

What metrics does this dashboard display? How can the data be filtered?

Metrics and Visualizations

• This dashboard shows basic staff information:
  • Employee Number - the employee's unique identifier
  • Name
  • Job Title
  • Legal Entity
  • Location
  • Department
  • Manager
  • Special Programs Memberships - A list of special programs that the employee is a member of
  • Email - The employee's work email
  • Hire Date
  • Active or Leave Status
  • Cell Phone Number (on the protected Additional Info tab)

Filters

• Search Everything! - An open search field that allows you to search for employees based on Employee Name, Job Title, Department, Associate ID (a secondary unique identifier), Manager, Employee Number, and Program Memberships
• Entity - Filter by Legal Entity / City
• Location - Filter by school or location
• Department - Filter by department or subject taught
• Job Title - Filter by job title
• Is Teacher? - Show staff members who hold teaching positions only (or not)
• Programs Filter - Filter for staff members who are in Leadership or Teacher programs
• Hire Date - Filter by staff hire date
