Error: When a student encounters an error, you may have to locate these files to recover student responses.
Procedure for Chromebooks
- Launch the TestNav app
- From the login screen, simultaneously press CTRL+Shift+Z, and then a File Viewer box appears
- Plug in a USB memory stick to an available USB port
- Click the download button next to the SRF and Log files you want to download
- When the window opens, select the USB memory stick, and click "Save"
Procedure for Windows
- Plug in USB memory stick into an available port
- Click on the "Start" menu from the run dialog box, then type: C:\Users\USERNAME\Pearson\
- (when entering the username, reference below for the correct username)
- NCA - NCstudents1
- TEAM - Teamstudents1
- SPARK - SPARkstudents
- Press "Enter"
- A Window's Explorer box should appear. You will see two folders: 1) srf, and 2) logs
- Navigate to those folders and copy the files you need to a USB memory stick
Procedure for Apple MAC
- Plug in a USB memory stick to an available USB port
- Click on the "search icon" in the upper-right corner and type "Pearson," and hit enter
- A window should appear and you will see two file folders labeled "srf" and "logs"
- Navigate into those folders and copy the files you need to the attached USB memory stick
