[Paterson] Illuminate Launch : How to login + Students + Staff

How to login to Illuminate as Staff/Teachers

First Time Login / Forgot Password [Staff/Teachers]

1. Go to https://kippteamschools.illuminateed.com/
2. Click Forgot Password
3. Enter your [username]@patersonprep.org email
4. Click Reset Password
5. Open the email titled "Password Reset Request - Renaissance" and click Reset Your Password.  Note, you must do this within 24hrs of step #4
6. Create a new, private PW

7. Login using your [username]@patersonprep.org as username and your new password

   

Login as Returning User [Staff/Teachers]

1. Go to https://kippteamschools.illuminateed.com/
2. Enter your [username]@patersonprep.org email as username
3. Click password
4. If you forgot, see steps above for "Forgot Password"

How to view or change your school

1. Once you are logged in, go to to top right Control Panel
2. Select the school or "district" to view all students
   1. Also, make sure the "Enrollment Date" is set to a date that is within the school year - it should be [today's date] but if not, please change

3. Click save if any changes were made

   

How to reach out for support

• Staff/Teacher Logins and Permissions: [e-mail]
• Student Logins: the Paterson team who manages student Google PWs, and cc [e-mail]
• Class rosters:
  • To add/drop a student from a class: please reach out to the Paterson team who manages class rosters in PowerSchool.  All changes in PowerSchool will update 'next AM' in Illuminate.  
  • If you see a discrepancy between PowerSchool and Illuminate, please share the details of student/class and reach out to [e-mail] and cc the Paterson team managing roster changes

Student Logins

1. Go to Illuminate Student Portal
2. Click on the Login with Google : KIPP Paterson button
3. Login using your Paterson Prep student Google Account (same password as your laptop and Clever)
