How to Install Slack and Create an Account

To access the Slack for KIPP Team and Family, follow steps 1 and 2.

1. In your preferred browser, go to kippnj.slack.com. 
2. Click on create an account and sign up with your KIPP work email (depending on your role)
   • @kippnj.org
   • @kippmiami.org
   • @kippteamandfamily.org
   • NOT your KIPP Google Account

To install the Slack Desktop App, follow the remaining steps. The desktop app should be your go-to for accessing Slack.

1. Install Slack by downloading the installer on their webpage: https://slack.com/downloads/windows
   1. Click on Product, followed by Download Slack and click Download.
   2. You do not need administrator credentials provided by your on-site Tech for this install.
2. Once Slack has been installed, login with your account to complete the installation.
