This article will cover adjusting screen size in the following scenarios:
- Making an individual page larger or smaller
- Making the entire screen larger or smaller (changing screen resolution)
- Magnifying what is on the screen (in whole or in part)
Making an individual page larger or smaller
- To make the page larger: Press Ctrl and Plus
- To make the page smaller: Press Ctrl and Minus
- Reset zoom: Press Ctrl + 0
Making the entire screen larger or smaller
- To make your screen larger, decrease resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift and Plus
- To make your screen smaller, increase resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift and Minus
- Reset resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift + 0
Magnifying what is on the screen (in whole or in part)
Magnifying the whole screen
- At the bottom right, select the time. Or press Alt + Shift + s
- Select Settings
- At the bottom, select Advanced
- In the Accessibility section, select Manage accessibility features
- Under Display, turn on Enable fullscreen magnifier
- To choose your zoom level, next to Fullscreen zoom level, select Down arrow
Tip: To move around, press Ctrl + Alt + Up , Down , Left , or Right
Magnifying part of the screen
- At the bottom right, select the time. Or press Alt + Shift + s
- Select Settings
- At the bottom, select Advanced
- In the Accessibility section, select Manage accessibility features
- Under Display, turn on Enable docked magnifier
- To choose your zoom level, next to Docked zoom level, select Down arrow
- At the top of your screen, you’ll see the zoomed in area. To change what's magnified, move your cursor
Note: When you type in the bottom section of the screen, you’ll see what you’re typing at the top, just zoomed in.
