Purpose:
This article provides step-by-step instructions for installing Google Authenticator. Google Authenticator can be used to enroll into multiple apps that require Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
This article is specific to iOS devices (iPhones/iPads). For Android devices click here.

Open “Apple Store”
, search for “Google Authenticator”, and tap “Get”.
Note: You may have to "Confirm" the app install.

Tap “Open” when the authenticator installation is complete.

Tap "Get started" on the "Stronger security with Google Authenticator" welcome screen.

You can choose from the following Google Authenticator profile options:

Tap "Sign in" and tap "Continue": Allows you to use your personal Google account (@gmail.com) or work account (@apps.teamschools.org or @kippmiami.org Google account) to store authenticator codes.
Note: If you already have codes synced to your account (personal or work) on another device, they will automatically migrate to your new device upon setup.

Use Authenticator without an account: Codes will not migrate over to a new device.
Note: This method is not recommended.

You can add authentication codes after you've chosen an account to use.
