Battery Not Recognized or Not Charging

With the Chromebook powered on:

1. Press and hold the Refresh Key 
2. Then press and hold the Power Button/Key as well for 10 seconds. 
   
3. The system will power off but continue to hold both buttons for 10 seconds. This will reset the firmware and corrects the battery problem.
