Why aren't we using Google Meet (Hangouts)?

Although Google Meet (formerly Google Hangouts) is integrated with Google Classroom - making it easy to set up and start meetings with students - we have had numerous reports of issues with Google Meet including students having audio issues and fuzzy screen sharing.

In addition, there are certain key features that are not included with Google Meet including no waiting room option, no meeting passwords, no breakout rooms and the inability to mute all participants.

Therefore we have selected Zoom for our video conferencing solution since it offers a more stable, reliable service.
