Installing Okta Verify - Android

Purpose:

This guide shows you how to set up the Okta Verify app on your Android phone.  You will use this app to scan a QR code, which allows you to enroll into MFA enabled apps.

Installing Okta Verify on Android devices

1. Open the “Play Store” store on your Android device.

2. Search for “Okta Verify” and tap “Install”

   

3. Tap “Open” once the installation is complete.

   

4. Tap “ Get started”

   

5. Tap “Next” on the “How it works” screen.

   

6. Tap “Add account”.

   

7. Under “Choose account type”, tap “Organization”.

   

8. Tap "Skip" on the “Add account from another device?” screen.

   

9. Tap "Yes, ready to scan" on the “Do you have your QR code?” screen.

   Note:  if prompted, tap Allow to give Okta Verify permission to use your camera.
