Installing Okta Verify - iOS (iPhones/iPads)

Purpose:

This guide provides instructions on installing Okta Verify app on iOS devices.  You can use this app to scan a QR code which allows you to enroll into MFA enabled apps.

Installing Okta Verify on iOS Devices (iPhones/iPads)

1. Open “App Store” on your iPhone

2. Search for “Okta Verify” and tap “Get” to install.

   Note:  You may have to verify your app downloads/purchases depending on your phone’s security.

   

3. Tap “Open” once the installation is complete.

   

4. Tap “Get started”.

   

5. Tap “Next” on the “How it works” screen.

   

6. Tap “Add account”.

   

7. Select "Organization" on the “Choose Account Type” screen.

   

8. Tap "Skip" on the “Add Account from Another Device?” screen.

   

9. Tap "Yes, ready to scan" on the “Do You Have Your QR Code?” screen.

   Note:  You may have to "Allow" Okta Verify to take pictures and record video” to continue.
