ADP New Hire Account Provisioning Process
Please use the steps below to check if your new hire has completed onboarding, become active in ADP, and been provisioned with technology accounts to access various systems. If you run into any issues or have any questions, please submit a ticket as per the guidance in the table below.

It can take up to 2-3 business days for HR to add the new hire to ADP to begin the onboarding process after a candidate has accepted their offer. If you need assistance or support regarding onboarding details for your new hire, submit a ticket to HR. |

Is the Status for the new hire listed as ‘Complete’? |
Click on the new hire’s name to determine what steps are still pending. If you do not see your new hire’s name, please check to make sure your dates and hiring manager filters are correct and enter the name in the search field. If you need assistance or support regarding onboarding details for your new hire, first review “How to track the onboarding process in ADP” and if you still have questions or an unresolved issue, submit a ticket to HR. |

Are you able to locate the new hire in the people search function in ADP? |
It can take up to 2-3 business days for HR to complete the hiring process in ADP after a new hire has completed onboarding. If a new hire completed onboarding between the payroll close and payroll commit dates, it may take up to an additional 1-3 business days for HR to complete the hiring process in ADP. Once HR has completed their steps, the new hire will typically be added to the Tableau staff roster and their accounts will be created overnight.

Is the new hire listed in the report? |
If you used the people search function in ADP yesterday but your new hire is not showing up in the Tableau Staff Roster today, please submit a Tech ticket. Please note that new hires will show up in this report the morning after they are added to ADP Workforce Now. If the new hire is listed in the Tableau Staff Roster, then this confirms that the new hire has been sent from ADP to all systems including triggering the creation of accounts and a mailbox. |

If your new hire is in Outlook, this is confirmation that their accounts have been created.
If your new hire is not showing up in Outlook, please submit a Tech ticket. |
Device deployment for new hires
For all new hires, the DSO or hiring manager must open a Tech ticket (by sending email to technology@kippnj.org) no later than 3 business days prior to the new hire’s start date to allow the respective Tech Specialist sufficient time to prepare a laptop for the new hire and to provide the new hire’s login credentials to the DSO/manager.
(Note: This does not apply to school-based new hires who start in July since there is a separate process for staff laptop preparation during the summer.)
