This article explains how to punch in and out directly from your homepage after logging into ADP Workforce Now or through the ADP Mobile Solutions app on your mobile device.
Punch tile on homepage
All employees must punch in at the start of their workday and punch out at the end of their workday. Your homepage in ADP includes a My Time tile with options to Clock In and Clock Out.
If you are required to take a lunch break, you must clock out at the start of your lunch period and clock back in once your lunch ends, using the same options. Your manager will provide you with your scheduled lunch time.
Alternatively, you can clock in or out by navigating to Myself > Time & Attendance > My Time Entry. This screen provides the same options available on the My Time homepage tile, with the added ability to view your recent punches and directly access your timecard.
View your timecard
To navigate to your timecard to view your time worked, go to the Myself > Time & Attendance > My Timecard.
When viewing your timecard, you can:
- Change the Time Period to view a specific pay period or adjust the Start Date/End Date to view a custom date range.
- Review your punches for the day or week. Your timecard is read-only, so notify your manager or DSO if changes are needed.
- Click Totals to view your total hours worked, Schedule to see your assigned shifts, or Time Off Balances to check your available time off.
ADP Mobile Solutions Application
Download the ADP Mobile Solutions app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to clock in or out from your mobile device. When opening the app, you may see three sign-in options: Face ID, User ID & Password, or Quick Clock. These options vary depending on your mobile device, but any of them will allow you to clock in or out.
If you select either Face ID or User ID & Password, you'll be directed to the app's home screen after logging in. From there, tap Clock, then select Start/End Work on the following screen.
The Quick Clock option is essentially a shortcut that allows you to quickly clock in or out without fully logging into the app using Face ID or your User ID & Password. If you select Quick Clock, simply tap Start/End Work on the following screen. You'll also see a brief list of your recent punches displayed for convenience.
Note: If you run into an issue where your Quick Clock punch button is greyed out, the ADP Mobile app requires location services to be enabled for mobile punching. After fully logging into the app and selecting "Clock" from the home screen, you should see a prompt to enable location. Once enabled, the Quick Clock punch button should be available the next time you relaunch the app.
If you encounter any issues with punching, email technology@kippteamandfamily.org. If possible, please include a screenshot of the issue.
