Time Off reports help DSOs by providing insight and clarity into Time Off balances. There are multiple reports available under Time Off. Below are a few key ones.
Navigate to: Reports & Analytics > Standard Reports > Time Off
Key Time Off Reports
Time Off Request Report
Tracks employees’ time off requests, including their status and other relevant details.
Time Off Balance Detail Report
Provides detailed information on employee Time Off balances by policy and time period. It shows all transactions that affect balances and can help troubleshoot balance issues.
Time Off Balance Summary Report
Summarizes all transaction types for a specific Time Off policy.
In scenarios where you’d like to pull time balance data for all teammates at a specific location in a single report (rather than looking up each teammate individually), you can refer to the example below — note the use of KIPP BOLD Academy in the screenshot examples.
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Standard Reports > Time Off > Time Off Balance Summary
- Click Who Appears on This Report, clear any default selections, and choose the Location. You’ll see a list of schools/campuses—select the desired location, then click Save.
- Next, under What’s Displayed on the Report, you can leave this as is or select the specific headers you’d like to include.
- Finally, under Appearance and Other Settings, choose the Time Off Policies you want to capture, remove the ones you don’t, then click Save.
Once all filters are applied, you can run the report as either a spreadsheet or PDF.
Additionally, there is a Custom report available to all DSOs under the Custom tab:
Time Off Balance Report
Similar to the two standard balance reports but offers greater flexibility with filters and criteria. Since these reports present similar data in different formats, you may want to try multiple to determine which best meets your needs.
