The Group Timecard screen in ADP allows Time Supervisors to efficiently view, edit, and approve time entries for multiple employees simultaneously.
Accessing Group Timecards
- Log into ADP Workforce Now.
- Navigate to My Team > Time & Attendance > Group Timecard
Overview of the Group Timecard Screen
The Group Timecard shows daily time entries for all your directs in one simplified view.
- Employee List: Names of all staff on your team. The staff who show up here can also be changed by filters or changing your list in the upper left corner.
- Time Entries: Shows Date, Time In/Out, Hours, Pay Code, and Notes.
- Approval Checkboxes: Used to select and approve individual or multiple entries.
Understanding the "Pay Date" Field:
- Important Clarification: The Pay Date field is used to select the date you want to review and/or modify. It does not represent the actual payroll pay date.
Managing and Approving Entries:
- Click the Pay Date button to select a specific date for review.
- Review employee entries and make any needed edits directly in the fields provided.
- Approving Entries:
- Check the boxes next to each entry you wish to approve.
- Use the checkbox in the header to quickly select all entries at once.
- After making selections and edits, click Save at the bottom-left to keep your changes.
- By making selections in the Select column, you also have options to insert additional rows, copy, paste, clear or delete them.
